Mohd Fariz Kamaruddin

Project Operations

Mohd Fariz Kamaruddin graduated from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom in 2002. He started in career with Schlumberger Oilfield Services in 2003. His last position with Schlumberger was a senior field engineer and a project cell leader before he continued his MBA in International Business in Birmingham Business School in 2006.

In 2009, he continued his oil and gas aspiration by joining Kencana Petroleum as a business manager under a special SPV, Kencana Petroleum Ventures and was promoted to be General Manager Business Development in 2010.

In 2017, he joined SYQIC Capital as the Operations Director. He managed the startup arm dealing with commodity trading operations for palm derived cooking oil and coffee beans for export market in Timor Leste and the United Kingdom. In 2019, Fariz joined Perbadanan Stadium Malaysia, a statutory body under Kementerian Belia dan Sukan (KBS) as the Head of Business Development.

He joined Silverland Capital Sdn Bhd. Assisting with startup commercial and operational strategy.
